On Tuesday January 21st, 2025, a fire tore through the historic building that housed Lee Contemporary Art. Thankfully nobody was injured, however many small businesses suffered tremendous losses. The building was beyond repair and has been torn down. Even though I closed my gallery full-time to the public in 2020, I held onto the space. My family and I looked forward to hosting our annual Holiday pop-up exhibition each December. Thankfully, we were able to host one last Holiday exhibition just a month before the fire. We made some beautiful memories in this building over the last decade.

Lee Contemporary Art is now an online and occasional pop-up gallery exhibiting mostly myself Tanya Cunnington, my partner Bewabon Shilling, or son Cal Shilling and my mom, Annie Kmyta Cunnington. However, I am always willing to discuss opportunities with other emerging and mid-career artists working in all mediums who are inclined towards non-representational and abstract contemporary art.
